About Los Gallardos.

Los Gallardos is the local village from whence the campsite takes its name, and is situated some 2 kilometers down the road from us.

Some 73 kms from the capital of Almería, and some 8 kms from the beaches at Mojacar or Garrucha, Los Gallardos is a prosperous little town of some 1.800 inhabitants

The local market is every Tuesday, where local farmers congregate in the town square to sell their wares. There is a free bus from the Campsite to the market every Tuesday.

The patron saint of Los Gallardos is San Isidrio, whose festival day is the 5 th of May. Los Gallardos also celebrates the “Fiesta de la Virgen de Carmen”, which is celebrated on the 7th July.
